About Us!
Cornelius and Kia are the Owners of Wild Blackberry Meadow Farm & Sanctuary in the charming town of Pelzer, SC.
Kia is a lifetime player in the soil and passionate about ecological, permaculture & afro-indigenous farming as the foundation for holistic health and wellness!
The Sanctuary is an Electro smog Free Regenerative Fruit Orchard operating on Butler Century Farm LLC, a part of Butler family land just under 100 acres originally owned by Kia's great grandparents.
We grow berries and fruit trees using regenerative methods to nurture the soil. In our forest garden, we grow mushrooms. In the forest, we will have a 40-foot deck called the Quiet Alcove and Nature Therapy trails to offer soul-care healing modalities, such as yoga, sound bath, meditation and ShinrinYoku, Japanese for “forest bathing."
Between the Food Forest, Meadow, Quiet Alcove, and Trails, the Sanctuary can provide a nature immersion experience customized to what you need!
